This small, quiet campsite, has stunning views overlooking the Somerset levels towards Glastonbury tor.

10 hook ups are available around the edge of the field and the shower block has 3 showers and 6 toilets.

There is a fridge freezer and outdoor washing up facilities, a chemical disposal point and fresh drinking water.

Your neighbours are alpacas and ponies as well as cows and sheep in the surrounding fields.

The nearby nature reserves at Westhay and Shapwick are a must for birdwatchers, although many of the birds can be seen and heard from the campsite. Many Somerset attractions are a short drive away. We have our very own attraction to show you,  a naval sea harrier jump jet that flew in the Falklands war.

Dogs with well behaved owners are welcome free of charge.

Electricity

Castle Farm is responsible for the safety of the electrical system up to the socket on the hook-up point at the pitch. It is the responsibility of the Camper to ensure that the plug, cable and associated sockets used to connect between the hook-up point to the Camper's unit is safe. Castle Farm will not accept responsibility for any accident or loss arising from the use of unsuitable or unsafe electrical equipment connected to Castle Farm hook-up point. Do not let children play around the electric hook-up points or cables.

Music and noise

Music can be played at a very low volume but must not disturb others. The owners reserve the right to ask for any inappropriate or loud music to be turned off .

Our quiet time is between 10 and 11pm ,during this time all music and loud talking must stop, please be considerate to your campsite neighbours and our neighbours.

Please do not allow children to run round after 10pm.

Waste

Please make full use of the Recycling bins.We dispose of our own rubbish and if you don't sort your rubbish, we have to, not a very pleasant job! Plastic bottles,tins, paper/cardboard, and glass, MUST be separated. General mixed waste , please place in the bins provided.Please take home larger items like punctured airbed's, broken chairs, broken tents, any camping equipment that you brought with you.Thank you

Dogs

Whilst we love dogs,other people and animals, especially alpacas, may not, so please keep all dogs on a lead and do not leave your dog in a tent or caravan unattended, or allow them to bark to cause disturbance to others.Please place all poopy scoops in the bins provided.We reserve the right to require the owner of any dog or pet considered a nuisance, or to be affecting the comfort of guests, to remove it from the farm
